E-Survey Web Tool Launched by InsightExpress

A new online web market research system called InsightExpress PRO has recently been launched. The service represents an enhanced package of sophisticated options for survey creation and results. It also claims to make even the most demanding research professionals capable of developing their own surveys online.

InsightExpress Pro is, in fact, designed to give sophisticated researchers the functionality they need to completely design their own e-surveys. "We invite any serious market researcher who has shunned a self-service online product in the past to take a good look at what InsightExpress PRO has to offer," claims Lee Smith, Chief Operating Officer of InsightExpress. "What they'll find is a faster, more cost-effective alternative to traditional research services - that won't force them to compromise their standards. With PRO, we've taken a big leap forward by giving researchers complete control over how their surveys will work and how their results can be presented."

The added-value features of the system include:


  • Complete scripting-enabled skipping capabilities including mathematical calculations, and logical operations.
  • Rotation options for both questions and groups of questions.
  • Piping capabilities that allow answers from one question to appear in the wording or answer set of subsequent questions.
  • Additional question types including multi-dimensional grids.
  • Pre-population of information in answers where individual data already exists.


For researchers conducting surveys in languages other than English, the system also claims to allow them to request that all survey directions and respondent error messages appear in the appropriate language. So far this includes Spanish, French, German and Italian.
