WebSurveyEurope Expands

March 15 2003

Healthcare research agency Ziment Group has joined forces with WorldOne Research to rapidly expand WebSurveyEurope, their physician Internet panel for marketing research in Europe.

'WebSurveyEurope will continue our successful efforts in conducting research with physicians through the Internet,' said Howard Ziment, Chief Executive Officer of The Ziment Group. 'We are 30,000 strong in our WebSurveyUSA membership heading to 50,000 by the end of this year. We are currently 3,000 strong in WebSurveyEurope and with WorldOne's help expect to be at 15,000 by the end of 2003 and 50,000 in 2005.'

'WorldOne has the infrastructure in place to allow us to quickly meet our goals for panel expansion and recruitment while maintaining our exacting standards,' added Jerry Arbittier, Managing Director of WebSurveyEurope. 'In over 200 studies in the past year, our belief that relationships need to be one-on-one with physicians has been confirmed. We routinely achieve high response rates in the 25% to 30% range for our studies, while oftentimes completing the research in days. WorldOne will help us build these one-on-one relationships to continue this success.'

In the partnership, WebSurveyEurope will be responsible for client service, programming, and panel/data management. WorldOne will be responsible for recruiting, translation and daily panel maintenance.

WebSurveyEurope will focus in 2003 on building their reach in five key European countries-the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy and Spain. In subsequent years, additional recruiting in other European countries will be initiated. As with WebSurveyUSA, the goal is to build large panels with all key specialties, allowing studies to be completed quickly and cost-effectively.

'The aim is not to stop here,' said Ziment. 'Asia and Latin America are next.'
