Pharma MR Award for Ziment Group CEO

October 6 2003

The Pharmaceutical Marketing Research Group (PMRG) has presented Howard Ziment, CEO of The Ziment Group, with the pharma MR industry's highest accolade, the RR Fordyce Award.

The honor was given to Ziment at a recent ceremony during the PMRG's annual fall meeting in San Diego, CA, by PMRG President Andrew George. The Award was created to honor the memory of Richard 'Dick' Fordyce.

Nominations for the award are invited annually for an individual who embodies the principles of excellence, innovation, and integrity for which Fordyce stood - and who has had a major impact in the pharmaceutical marketing research industry. The Award also reflects exemplary business ethics, leadership including professional / personal behavior and the mentoring / training of others.

Ziment was praised for his superior knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and his use of innovative research techniques and methodologies to create new research paradigms. Ziment is founder of WebSurveyResearch, which runs the 'gold standard' physician Internet panel WebSurveyMD. The award also paid tribute to Ziment's service and dedication to The Ziment Group and to the PMRG over the past 15 years.

Ziment said he was deeply honored to receive this award, viewing it as 'testimony to the continued hard work and dedication of each and every member of The Ziment Group'.

The Ziment Group, based in New York City, is a full service consultancy offering custom marketing research for the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry worldwide, and is the global healthcare research brand for The Kantar Group. Web site: www.ziment.com
