In the US, semantic ad solutions agency Peer39 has appointed Chrisanne McCoy as Director of Business Development, based at its New York City headquarters.

Most recently, McCoy was a Senior Account Executive at media technology firm Invision, prior to which she served as Sales Director at ad tracking specialist Operative Media. McCoy has also worked as Director, Business Development for customer strategy firm Peppers and Rogers Group.

‘Chrisanne has a proven track record of selling new ideas and breaking into new markets,’ said CEO Amiad Solomon. ‘This will help Peer39 reach its goal of bringing in new publisher deals.’

Peer39 creates online advertising platforms based on natural language processing and machine learning. The firm recently closed a $10.5m round in Series C funding, which it will use to accelerate business development and sales.
