In the UK, Jigsaw Research has hired Wianda Hoogakker as Director working on technology, finance, energy and usability accounts.

Wianda Hoogakker Hoogakker commenced her market research career in 1996 with a small Brussels-based agency. Two years later, she moved to London to join Research International and later joined Andersen to set up the firm’s research function. Between 2002-2007 she headed the EMEA and Asia Merchant Insights team at American Express, and was then promoted to the role of Director in Interactive Marketing, where she was responsible for redesigning and launching consumer-focused web sites across ten markets.

She earned an MA in Psychology, specialising in consumer behaviour, from Tilburg University in the Netherlands. Originally a Dutch national, Hoogakker has previously lived in Amsterdam, Brussels and Madrid, and has lived and worked in London for the last ten years.
