In the US, video game researcher EEDAR has appointed former NPD Group exec Richard Ow as Vice President of Sales and Strategy, overseeing all sales activities in the interactive entertainment sector.
Founded in 2006, EEDAR (Electronic Entertainment Design and Research) offers integrated data analysis solutions that allow for the examination of every factor influencing the success of past, present, and future video game titles. The firm is based in Carlsbad, California and holds the Guinness world record for the largest collection of video game facts and information.
Ow joins from the NPD Group where he has worked since 1998. Most recently, he served as Director of Product Development and Management, Games, responsible for games syndicated and custom services, revenue forecasts, competitive strategies, and analyzing point-of-sale and consumer survey findings.
