In the UK, customer loyalty specialist Maritz Research has appointed former DHL executive John Mathews as IT Director for Europe, to lead the firm’s Technology Division covering development infrastructure and operations. Founded in 1973, Maritz Research has more than 230 employees based in Europe, in the UK and Germany. Mathews joins with 15 years’ experience managing global IT teams. While at DHL, he worked on business process analysis, optimisation, and mapping; CRM solution design; and employee portal requirements. Prior to this, he was CIO, EMEA of Hitachi Data Systems.
