Sharona Sankar-KingWPP-owned media agency MEC has appointed Sharona Sankar-King to oversee the New York-based Digital Analytics division within its Analytics and Insight team in North America.

She joins from marketing agency RAPP, where as VP of Strategy and Analysis she led strategic planning, execution, reporting, and analysis of marketing initiatives for pharma, healthcare, OTC and CPG clients. During a seventeen-year career to date, she also held leadership positions at Experian, FCB and Digitas.

In her new role as Senior Partner, Director of Digital Analytics, Sankar-King reports to Theresa LaMontagne, MD of Analytics and Insight, who comments: ‘Sharona’s fluency in strategic and analytical techniques pertaining to CRM, integrated channel management, data analysis and data mining are key skills that will take our Analytics team to the next level.’
