In Australia, Interpublic Group’s research and data modelling division Mediabrands Analytics has appointed Chris Carr as Managing Director. Carr was previously General Manager of Customer Analytics at Commonwealth Bank.
Carr (pictured) worked most recently on the evolution of Commonwealth Bank’s customer platform. He takes up the new role on April 2 and replaces Clare Fernando, who has been promoted to Executive Director, working on new client partnerships.
In his new position, Carr will head a team of econometric modellers and qual/quant market researchers who deliver recommendations to clients to help them optimise their communications strategies and channel mix.
