In the UK, medeConnect Healthcare Insight, the market research division of Doctors.net.uk, has appointed Gareth Nelson as Research Manager, responsible for ensuring the smooth running and effectiveness of projects for clients.

Established in September 2005, medeConnect conducts online research with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals. Its exclusive relationship with medical network Doctors.net.uk provides access to an online community of nearly 191,000 doctors in the UK, while parent company M3 Group offers access to 1.7m physicians worldwide.

Nelson, who joins medeConnect from the healthcare team at Harris Interactive, has worked for clients, such as Novartis and Reckitt Benckiser, as well as technology companies like Microsoft and Sony. He has more than eight years’ qual and quant experience, and previously worked at Echo Research.
