In the UK, full service healthcare and consumer specialist Red Leaf Research has appointed former Ipsos Healthcare exec James Macleod as Account Director.

Ashtead, Surrey-based Red Leaf was launched last year by former TNS Healthcare colleagues Steve Lowery and Philippa Hammerton. Their agency provides qual and quant research solutions, as well as research-related training and consulting services for clients.

Macleod joins from Ipsos Healthcare in Sydney, Australia, where he served as an Account Director, before which he worked for Synovate Australia in the custom healthcare division. Earlier he spent five years as an Associate Director at Kantar Health (previously TNS Healthcare), where he worked with Red Leaf Research’s founders.

Lowery comments: ‘We see James’ appointment as a very happy reunion and we are really excited about continuing the successful growth of the Red Leaf brand within the UK and Europe.’
