
Eye tracking technology developer SensoMotoric Instruments (SMI) has appointed neuropsychologist Dr Ingmar Gutberlet as Director of Sales and Marketing, to help integrate its eye tracking systems with EEG, MRI and other biosignal data streams.
SMI develops and markets eye and gaze tracking solutions for a wide range of applications including usability testing, from its offices in Teltow near Berlin, Germany, and Boston in the US.
Gutberlet joins from his previous role of President of BlindSight, which specialises in biosignal methods consulting and development. During this time, he also served as the President of BrainVision, and as Scientific & Support Manager at Brain Products, which manufactures EEG equipment and software. Prior to this, he spent six years working as an Assistant Professor and Senior Researcher at the Department of Biological and Clinical Psychology at the University of Jena.
