Jennifer HoltIn the US, female-owned qual consultancy Illumination Research has appointed Jennifer Holt as Director of Marketing and New Business Development, while re-hiring Heather Smith as Director of Insight Strategy.

Founded in 2005, Illumination Research offers consumer insight capabilities and emerging technology research solutions. The company recently opened new headquarters in Mason, OH, and has since doubled its headcount.

Holt (pictured) joins with more than 20 years’ marketing and research experience, with a background in shopper insights and consumer behavior. During her career, she also held senior roles at MRSI, RiskAware, Directions Research, and Catalina Marketing Research Solutions.

Smith re-joins the firm after 18 months with JPMorgan Chase, where she served as Marketing Research Manager responsible for managing qual and quant research for the firm’s retail business. Prior to this, she spent more than five years at Illumination Research as a Market Research Consultant, before which, she worked for Procter & Gamble, conducting global manufacturing sourcing studies and tracking performance for the Oral Care brand teams.
