Laura FryIn the UK, full service research agency Crowd DNA has appointed former GfK Qual Research Manager Laura Fry and former Kantar Media AD Mat Riches.

Formed in 2008, the Shoreditch, London-based firm conducts commercial and thought leadership research in areas such as media, fashion retail, technology and entertainment. Services include product and communications testing, audience segmentation, competitor analysis and social media tracking.

The new arrivals join as Associate Directors. Fry (pictured) previously worked in GfK’s Technology team, prior to which she was a Research Consultant at Loudhouse Research, and a Research Associate at University College London. Riches worked most recently at Kantar Media, before which he served as Commercial Research Consultant at ITV, Senior Research Executive at Emap Esprit, and Marketing Executive at Newsquest Media Sales.

Crowd DNA founder Andy Crysell says the agency ‘prides itself on great people and purposeful innovation’, and comments: ‘Laura and Mat bring with them a great deal of expertise and authority in categories and methodologies that are really important to us.’
