In the US, comms specialist PRIME Research has promoted Timo Thomann-Rompf to the role of Senior Vice President - Americas, Director of Research and Operations.

Established as an academic research institute in Germany in 1987, PRIME now has bases in the USA, Brazil, Uruguay, the UK, Germany, Switzerland, India and China. Services include PR monitoring, research, evaluation and consulting services, as well as social media monitoring, strategic media analysis, and reputation benchmarking.

Thomann-Rompf (pictured) joined the company’s HQ in Mainz, Germany in 2000, where he latterly worked as Director Automotive. Since moving to the firm’s Ann Arbor, Michigan research hub in 2010, he has played a lead role in the creation and deployment of PRIME’s i-Suite portfolio of integrated online services for monitoring, analyzing and interpreting social and traditional media trends.

In his new role, Thomann-Rompf is responsible for all aspects of the American operations, including implementing strategic direction, managing client relationships, accelerating innovation and developing talent.
