New York-based customer analytics specialist iQor has appointed the FBI’s former Chief Technology Officer Justin Lindsey as Chief Scientist, in charge of its new Center for Applied Analytics.
Using data science and real-time analytics intelligence, iQor delivers customer experiences which are designed to promote its clients’ brands. In addition, the firm provides data-driven customer support and processing services in the consumer and commercial markets.
In December, the company
acquired the CCT Group, which provides contact center and business process outsourcing services, to help broaden its big data offer.
Most recently, Lindsey (pictured) served as the Head of Strategic Development for Research at hedge fund Bridgewater, prior to which, he was CTO of business analytics firm Netezza (
acquired by IBM in 2010). Previously, he served as CTO for the FBI, where he helped shape the agency’s technology and analytic capabilities post-9/11, and he then served as CTO for the US Department of Justice. Earlier in his career, he led Hewlett Packard’s Advanced Solution Lab.
In his new role, Lindsey will lead a global team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts at iQor’s new Center for Applied Analytics, which focuses on identifying a range of customer traits and characteristics which the company calls ‘Behavioral Genomes’.
He will report to CEO Norm Merritt who comments: ‘Few have the combination of technology and analytics experience that Justin brings to help iQor develop the Behavioral Genomes – why customers churn, what will trigger a purchase, who are fraud risks, etc – that our clients are demanding. The new Chief Scientist role that Justin will fill is another example of iQor’s continued commitment to be the leading provider of behavioral analytics and business intelligence tools in our industry.’
