
Social media analytics firm Dachis Group has appointed former Bazaarvoice CMO Erin Mulligan Nelson as President, to lead its marketing strategy and execution.
Dachis’ big data platform tracks, monitors and helps manage conversations and content across 35,000 brands, 100 million social accounts and an aggregate audience of 7 billion followers, fans, subscribers and contributors.
Last month, the firm
raised $7.5m in Series C funding, which it is planning to use to accelerate the development of its core platform, and meet increased demand for its solutions.
Mulligan Nelson (pictured) joins from social media analytics specialist Bazaarvoice, where as Chief Marketing Officer, she was responsible for marketing efforts across the globe. Prior to this, she spent eleven years at Dell, where she held roles including SVP, CMO; VP of Marketing, EMEA; and Director of Marketing. Earlier, she worked in Corporate Strategy at PepsiCo – Frito Lay, was a Management Consultant at A.T. Kearney, and served as Assistant Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble.
