Dave MarquardIn the US, television attention measurement company TVision Insight has hired ad measurement industry exec Dave Marquard as Chief Product Officer, tasked with managing the product roadmap and building on industry partnerships.

The company has headquarters in Boston and offices in New York and Tokyo, and uses patented computer vision algorithms to passively measure person-level engagement with video content. Last month, it partnered with cross-screen TV attribution firm Data Plus Math, to understand where target audiences are paying attention, and how targeting combined with attention leads to sales.

Marquard (pictured) joins from ad intelligence specialist Integral Ad Science, where he served as VP of Product Management, leading the firm's publishing and programmatic business and helping to define digital ad viewability. Prior to this, he worked for Google as Partner Technology Manager, Mobile Ads, managing the strategy and roadmap for mobile ad publishing platforms; and for IBM, where he was initially in charge of the Product Marketing team, and latterly Worldwide BPM Sales Leader.
