In the US, Washington DC-based public affairs firm The Hawthorn Group has promoted Liam Goodwin to the role of Senior Research Associate.

Goodwin (pictured) joined as a Research Intern in January from Capitol Hill, where in the US House of Representatives he specialized in public policy tracking legislative trends on a broad range of domestic and global issues. His experience includes analysis and media monitoring on business, healthcare financing and Far East diplomacy. Having recently graduated from the George Washington University, Goodwin is currently working on his Masters of Public Policy at the same institution.
