Nichola KarpIn New York, performance video advertising and analytics platform Sightly has appointed former Nielsen exec Nichola Karp as Chief Product Officer.

Sightly's platform enables brands and agencies to deliver the most relevant messages to the most receptive viewers across every device on YouTube and other video destinations. Its software combines targeting with ad personalization and campaign optimization data science to deliver performance KPIs across the entire customer journey.

Karp (pictured) joins after two years at Nielsen, where as Director of Product, Nielsen Marketing Cloud - DMP, she led the product vision, roadmap, and tactical execution for the NMC's data management platform (audience targeting, modeling, and syndication). In addition, she spearheaded Nielsen's first product group, a cross-functional team comprised of product, UX, engineering, data science, dev ops, client solutions, and marketing execs. Prior to this, she was VP Product and Strategy at digital advertising firm Reelcontent and Director of Product at programmatic health technology provider Pulsepoint.

In her new role Karp will lead Sightly's product, engineering and data teams, with a primary initiative to automate and scale the firm's operations to support the company's growth.
