In New York, MR services company Smart Connect Research (SCR) has appointed long-time industry exec Glen Collins as Vice President of Sales, heading the firm's business developments efforts across the US.

Founded in 2016 by ex-Survey Sampling International (SSI) director Felipe Parker, London-based SCR provides integrated MR data collection services for B2B, healthcare and international ad hoc and tracking programmes. Collins (pictured) joins with eighteen years' industry experience. Most recently, he worked for MR outsourcing firm Schnell Research as VP Sales & Marketing, having previously been SVP of Business Development for Azure Knowledge Corporation and VP Business Development for FieldGlobal. During his career, Collins also held senior sales roles with Moody's Corporation and Bloomberg, and he worked for Nielsen as Client Director, Business Development for Financial Services, having begun his career at Datamonitor.

In a statement, Parker said: 'We are delighted that Glen has decided to join SCR. He will be on the road soon, meeting with as many customers and partners as possible'.
