Nicola MontlakeIn the UK, consumer and sensory research specialist PPL Insights has appointed Nicola Montlake as a Field Consultant, to help develop and deliver projects in its field services division, All Fieldwork Matters.

The West Sussex-based firm, which was established in 1995, offers a range of techniques for concept testing, new product development, packaging/design pricing, and product testing across FMCG categories including drinks, toiletries and beauty products. In 2014, director Yvonne Taylor acquired the company from founders Dominic Buck and Keith Greenhoff.

All Fieldwork Matters was setup in 2012 and now accounts for a quarter of the business. Montlake (pictured) joins after running her own agency, Fieldforce - The Fieldwork Facility. Earlier, she gained experience in face-to-face fieldwork while working for Research International (now TNS) and TRBI (now Ipsos).

In her new role, Montlake is tasked with helping PPL widen the scope of its face-to-face fieldwork offer. Audrey Bell, Field Services Director, comments: 'We're really excited to have Nicola join our fieldwork team. She has a great deal of experience and will be provide high level client support helping us extend our client base and fieldwork offer.'
