Former IBM exec Madhumita Bhattacharyya has joined the Technology Consulting practice of global consulting firm Protiviti, in the role of MD and leader of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence services, based in Dallas.

Protiviti, a wholly owned subsidiary of Robert Half, is a global consulting firm with more than 80 offices in over 20 countries. Bhattacharyya brings more than nineteen years of strategy and analytics experience in industries including financial services, retail, CPG and healthcare, and has particularly expertise in anti-money laundering, fraud and risk analytics. Most recently, she was a Partner at IBM Global Business Services, heading up the Advanced Analytics practice in the US. She also led the IBM-SAS Alliance and the SAS Center of Excellence with special focus on public sector projects.

Prior to IBM, Bhattacharyya worked as Analytics Practice Leader for retail and banking and financial services with Cognizant Technology Solutions; and earlier she was Associate VP of Analytics for Hewlett-Packard in Chennai, India, building and leading a team. She holds an MSc (Statistics) from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India.
