US-based Directions Research has added Tim Laake and Carley Metsker to its Board of Directors, joining President and CEO Jim Lane, SVP Janice Brinker and CFO Steve Wilde.

Laake has been the firm's CMO since March 2018, and previously held the titles of SVP and Group Manager, leading the restaurant practice. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from Xavier University.

Metsker is currently Vice President, Client Service, and has held client service roles in the company across various industries. She holds a bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University and a Master of Marketing Research from the University of Georgia.

Lane says of the promotions: 'The growth of our firm and the wealth of technology and services we now offer require a larger and more diverse Board of Directors. Tim and Carley will complement our existing board and provide valuable perspectives as we execute our strategy for the future'.
