Eduventures, a data-driven research and consulting firm specialising in the higher education market, has promoted Peter Stokes from EVP to Chief Research Officer.
In his new role, in addition to providing overall strategic direction for the firm’s research divisions, Stokes will tap his extensive experience in higher education to help guide the development of research topics and methodologies, and to ensure consistency and uniformity of research outputs.
Prior to joining Eduventures in 1998, Stokes was Manager of IT research group Daratech. He has also held teaching positions at Tufts University and the Massachusetts College of Art. Stokes holds a BA and PhD from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Explained CEO and President Tom Dretler: ‘While our Learning Collaboratives focus on a specific academic area, supporting our members institutionally is becoming increasingly important. Centralizing leadership of our research divisions under Peter will allow us to do just that.’
Eduventures is dedicated to helping colleges and universities become more efficient and successful institutions, and more than 350 higher education institutions participate in one or more of the firm’s eight Learning Collaboratives. Web site www.eduventures.com .
