JOB SPEC: Capitalise on your social research experience and join this successful research agency that specialises in researching sensitive, high-level social issues especially with minority groups, hard to reach or special audiences in Australia.

You will be at the forefront of topical social and community matters, using your research experience and sector knowledge to deliver research that stimulates new thinking in the public realm. The range of clients and scope of projects will see you working on a range of issues from health, to education, housing and policy.

Whilst the role is predominantly quantitative there will be a qualitative aspect to the work and therefore an appreciation and interest in the latter methodology is ideal. Your role will involve managing projects such as public attitude surveys, policy development and evaluation, stakeholder assessment, performance indicator tracking, communications evaluation and service satisfaction. It is a client facing role so you must be the whole package - able to design and manage research studies as well as meet clients, deliver winning proposals and insightful presentations.

This is a small agency where you will work in a tight-knit team of specialists that are brimming with enthusiasm about the important research they do for the community. To join them you must have previous experience working in a social setting for a market research agency. A solid understanding and experience of both quantitative and qualitative methodologies is very important, alongside brilliant communication skills.
