Day-to-day responsibilities
- Help identify and prospect new business opportunities.
- Execute outbound prospecting campaigns across email, phone and LinkedIn.
- Act as the first point of contact for inbound leads.
- Qualify leads against defined criteria and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Develop your knowledge of FMCG, including emerging trends, market dynamics and customer challenges.
- Learn how to position solutions that solve client challenges.
This is a consultative sales role, engaging with senior decision makers across Marketing, Innovation, Insights and R&D. You'll receive 1:1 coaching and mentoring from an exceptional Sales Director, learning how to build long-term client relationships and develop a successful career in business development.
About You
We'd love to hear from commercially minded individuals who enjoy building relationships, starting conversations and proactively uncovering new leads.
- Some prior experience in B2B business development or sales support.
- Experience working towards KPIs and sales targets.
- Experience using CRM systems and prospecting tools would be ideal.
- Exposure to FMCG, retail or category management would be advantageous, or;
- Familiarity with market insights, consumer intelligence or market research solutions would be advantageous.
- Naturally curious with good questioning skills.
- Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
