Job Spec: Our client is a London-based market research fieldwork agency with clients across the UK and the US, providing high-level mainly qualitative fieldwork services. They are growing at a fast pace and now looking for an experienced Field and Bidding Manager to join their team!
This is a unique opportunity for a motivated candidate with a drive to seize opportunities, helping our client to build a thriving business through account development and management.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate bid production activities, reviewing client requests, deadlines, and submission requirements, and seeking additional information when needed
- Assist sales and project managers with strategic, high-priority bids and client communication
- Evaluate feasibility for new research inquiries from existing and new clients, building relationships to establish our client as a key supplier
- Provide guidance on specifications and pricing to operational teams when needed
- Support and utilize documents and processes within the Sales and Bidding function
- Contribute to business development by ensuring cohesive bid responses and leveraging internal experts
- Collaborate with directors to enhance marketing efforts, securing new leads and repeat business.
Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in UK and international market research or a closely related field, including managing external suppliers and determining feasibility and costing for new projects
- Team player, ambitious, and dedicated to excellent client service
- Methodical, detail-oriented, and analytical with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and working with cross-functional teams
- Skilled at interpreting and presenting complex data in clear written formats
- Independent worker with strong time management and adaptability skills.
