Job Spec: We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join a specialist team, working with open source data as well as other data types. This team works at the intersection of national security, social justice, and conflict prevention with private and public sector organisations.
This role will focus on monitoring and analysing the political, media, and information environments of Eastern Europe. You will use media monitoring and social listening tools, structured analytical techniques, and open-source research to produce high-quality briefings, forward-looking assessments, and strategic recommendations. You'll support communications strategy development, respond to ad hoc research requests, and act as an in-house regional expert.
We're looking for candidates with strong analytical and writing skills, a relevant degree (e.g. International Relations, War Studies, or regional studies), and fluency or business proficiency in Russian, Ukrainian, Georgian, Polish, or other Eastern European languages. Experience with structured analytical techniques, social science data, monitoring tools, or Python is desirable.
