Job Spec: If your current role feels like running surveys rather than solving problems, this will feel very different.
This is a position within a high-end research and consultancy business that approaches briefs with a wider lens - combining multiple data sources, commercial context, and increasingly AI-led thinking to get to more meaningful answers. The work is varied, often complex, and rarely follows a templated approach.
You'll be joining at a point where the business is investing heavily in thought leadership and content, with a strong inbound pipeline already in place. That means less time chasing work and more time focused on delivery, client relationships, and developing your consulting skillset.
The role
You'll help support the end-to-end delivery of quantitative projects, working closely with clients across a mix of sectors, including technology, telecoms, built environment, healthcare, financial services, and government. You'll also be allowed to develop your qualitative skills - including depth interviews, stakeholder interviews, and workshops.
This is a hands-on role with real exposure, not just execution, but involvement in shaping briefs, contributing to proposals, and helping present insights back to clients.
Key responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end quantitative research projects
- Interpreting client challenges and shaping research approaches
- Analysing data using SPSS and/or Q
- Developing clear, commercially relevant insights and recommendations
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Supporting proposals and new business activity
- Mentoring junior team members.
What makes this role different- The work is not tracker-heavy or repetitive. Projects range from fast turnaround local studies to larger, multi-market programmes across the UK, US, and APAC.
- There is a strong emphasis on combining data sources, not just survey outputs, to build a more complete picture
- AI is becoming a core part of how the team thinks about research and insight generation.
The team is high-performing and collaborative, with a strong focus on quality and development.
You'll have the opportunity to grow into a more rounded consultant, with real input into client relationships and account development.
About you- 1-3 years' experience in a market research agency, with a quantitative focus
- Solid working knowledge of SPSS and/or Q
- Comfortable communicating insights, both written and verbal
- Looking for more variety, ownership, and client exposure
- Interested in developing beyond delivery into a more consultative role.
In return, you'll join a business that offers flexible working, excellent learning and development support, additional leave and a strong team culture with regular socials.
If you're looking to move away from purely delivery-focused research into a role with more variety, exposure, and progression, apply now or get in touch for a confidential discussion.
