Red Cell Acquires HeadlightVision | July 9 2002 |
WPP's owned operating company, Red Cell, the global communications services network, has acquired HeadlightVision, a leading research and strategic consultancy.
Based in London, HeadlightVision specialises in global intelligence, having developed four core intelligence products focusing on macro global trends, urban energies, youth culture and marketing and communicating with 50-75 year olds.
HeadlightVision employs 26 people and had revenues of £2.8 million and net assets of £975,000 for the year ended 31 March 2002.
The acquisition of HeadlightVision reinforces Red Cell's ability to develop universal strategic brand and content ideas for its clients and continues WPP's strategy of strengthening its networks in important growth sectors and markets.
