BirdEye
California-based customer experience platform BirdEye has appointed Chris Aker as Chief Revenue Officer, responsible for all aspects of its sales, marketing, business development and customer success teams.
The BirdEye platform captures online customer sentiment from review sites, social media, and Net Promoter Scores, and converts it into actionable data. The firm has grown rapidly, helped by a $25m round of investment last year, and recently launched a tool called Goals, to help small business set and track targets for their reviews and ratings on third party sites. It now boasts more than 25,000 customers, 5 global offices and 250 employees.
Aker brings thirteen years of experience, most recently from Eventbrite where he was Vice President of Global Sales, growing the sales organization from a single office to a global team in eight countries and contributing to a $1bn+ company valuation. Before this he worked in sales and marketing leadership roles at Revana for 5 years.
