Grivy
Jakarta, Indonesia-based consumer understanding specialist Grivy has appointed Unilever exec David Porter as an Advisory Board member, to help the business drive regional expansion. He is currently based in Singapore.
The Grivy Growth Platform is used to capture and understand all events on consumers’ path-to-purchase, and then deliver insights at scale. In addition, the company enables clients to reach look-alike consumers when they’re near a store, and trigger purchases.
Porter (pictured) serves as Global Vice President Media at Unilever, and is set to retire from the company in February. In his current role, he is responsible for driving media innovation across Asia-Pacific and Africa, and leading multidisciplinary teams and agency relationships. He began his career on the agency side, leading teams at Mediacom and Mindshare for more than 25 years, before joining Unilever.
As an advisory to Grivy, Porter will help the firm set the strategic direction on the agency business.
