InnovateMR
In the US, former uSamp/Instantly Director of Global Human Resources Mika Turner has joined InnovateMR as Senior Director, Human Resources.
Calabasas, California-based InnovateMR was launched in 2014 by uSamp founders Matt Dusig and Gregg Lavin together with their former colleague George Llorens. In January, the firm received an undisclosed amount of funding from private equity firm CIVC Partners and a 'significant investment' from Innovate's founders and former President Michael Anderson, as well as from current shareholders.
Turner (pictured) began her career with the founding team at online sampling and technology firm uSamp/Instantly, where she spent five years before stints at outsourced HR services firm ManagEase as Senior HR & Payroll Manager, and then financial services company Payoff as Team Experience Specialist. More recently, she was Senior Organizational Development Manager at computer manufacturer Getac, where she designed and launched a performance review platform, implemented an applicant tracking system to streamline the interview process, and built a company wellness plan.
Commenting on the appointment, CEO Lisa Wilding-Brown said: 'Fueled by our recent investment, Mika's hiring comes as we begin to scale into our next phase of company growth. She will ensure that as we enter this next chapter, we never lose sight of our people-first focus and remain fiercely protective of our amazing company culture that makes InnovateMR such a great place to work.'
