In Australia, data, strategy and delivery agency 89 Degrees East has appointed social researcher Rebecca Huntley as Director of Research. She takes up the position on Monday.
89 Degrees East partners with multinational firms, as well as federal and state governments and not-for-profits. In addition to research, it specialises in providing strategic advice, policy, communications, stakeholder engagement, awareness campaigns, digital strategy and design.
Huntley (pictured) joins with more than fifteen years' experience in the research industry, including almost more than eight years as Director of Ipsos' The Mind & Mood Report. During her career, Huntley also ran Vox Populi Research (part of the CIRCA research group) and was a Research Director at Essential Media.
CEO Alister Jordan said the appointment will strengthen the agency's in-house research capability and its ability to deliver the firm's data-led, evidence-based strategy to its portfolio of clients.
