Virtual Store Trials
Shopper insights provider Virtual Store Trials (VST) has appointed Jack Edwards as Business Development Manager, tasked with expanding the firm's UK Commercial team.
Founded in 2016 by former dunnhumby exec Nick Theodore, London-based VST creates virtual stores to help retailers assess the at-shelf outcome of any assortment change - its flagship product is called the the Smarter Shelf Testing solution. Last year, VST partnered with dunnhumby and Tesco in the UK, to provide planogram data to CPG brands and improve innovation and in-store recommendations.
Edwards (pictured) joins from digital media and technology company Shopmium, where he most recently served as Senior Client Manager, before which he worked for sales agency Tiogo as UK Business Development. Earlier he was Customer Development Executive at Nestlé Professional, and Late Trading Assistant at TUI.
Commenting on the appointment, Theodore said: 'With Jack's proven track record of creating long-standing relationships with CPG brands, we're excited to bring our market-leading technology to more brands to help them win with shoppers'.
