VideoAmp
Ad tech and measurement company VideoAmp has appointed Jon Steinlauf, former Chief US Advertising Sales Officer at Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), to its Board of Directors.
VideoAmp is headquartered in Los Angeles and New York with offices across the United States. The firm recently announced a multi-year deal with WBD, achieved accreditation by the country's new 'JIC' organisation, and has been pushing its credentials as an ad currency competitor to Nielsen, including renewed and expanded partnerships with AMC Networks, A+E Networks, Fox, NBCUniversal, Paramount Global, and TelevisaUnivision.
Steinlauf brings decades of experience driving transformation in media sales and advertising innovation, from senior leadership roles across major media companies. Most recently, he drove integrated revenue strategies across platforms for WBD; earlier he was Chief U.S. Ad Sales Officer for Discovery, Inc. and spent eighteen years at Scripps Networks, latterly as President of Advertising Sales - while at the company he helped launch and monetize influential lifestyle brands including HGTV, Food Network and Travel Channel. He will be inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame later this month, honoring his contributions to the industry. While at WBD, he was directly involved in the launch of Stream X, powered by VideoAmp's advanced advertising solution.
VideoAmp CEO Peter Liguori comments: 'Jon offers the rare combination of industry expertise and client experience, having worked directly with VideoAmp and seen firsthand the impact our solutions can deliver. His deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing advertisers and publishers will be instrumental as we continue to accelerate the industry's shift toward more transparent, interoperable, and effective measurement.'
