Stagwell
Marcoms group Stagwell has appointed former Omnicom / Annalect and WPP executive Dru Sil in the new role of Global Product Managing Director for its Stagwell Media Platform (SMP).
SMP brings together specialists in media, technology and data from around the group worldwide in a hub focused on designing products to optimize media trading, forecasting and investment.
Sil brings more than fifteen years of commerce and product experience across startups and global agency networks. He joined WPP's GroupM ten years ago as Manager, Analytics, and a year later moved within the group to Mindshare, where he spent around five years rising to MD, Commerce Analytics. In 2022 he joined Omnicom's Annalect division as Group Director, Global Commerce Product Lead. For the last fifteen months he has served in Executive Director, Product Strategy roles, first at Annalect and then at group level in Omnicom.
In his new role he will head up the development of SMP's product suite, oversee global media activation, and manage product development and integration across Stagwell. He reports to Matt Adams, Global CEO of Stagwell Media Platform (SMP), who comments: 'Dru is an exceptional talent, and his technology and business strategy background uniquely positions him to build and scale our global product suite.
