Washington Post Unveils Online Health Care Panel
In the US, The Washington Post has launched an online panel of respondents, who will be invited to debate the country's health care reform bill and explain how proposed changes might impact citizens.
The new HealthReformRx will comprise CEOs, academics, physicians, former policymakers and patients, who will tap into their experiences to offer insights into how to improve the system.
National Health Care Policy Reporter Ceci Connolly will pose a different question each week and moderate the online discussion, while readers will be encouraged to join the debate, offer observations and suggest questions.
'Few aspects of American life touch people more directly than health care,' said the paper's Executive Editor Marcus Brauchli. 'To supplement our in-depth coverage, The Post is introducing a panel of experts to help readers make sense of these issues.'
