Twitter Aggregation Tools Rolled Out

Youth marketing agency Archrival has developed a Twitter Aggregator tool to bring together all tweets relating to a brand in a single page. Technorati - which operates niche Twitter aggregator sites - has also launched a system to bring together tweets from major blogs.

Archival says its new tool ensures that consumers only need to follow one feed, while marketers are assured that consumers are receiving their messages. Tweets can be classified by group according to consumer interest, to allow users to filter tweets by category.

'Our tool is a simple way to consolidate tweets from a specified group of Twitter users,' said co-founder and President Charles Hull. 'It enables marketers to quickly add a tab or box to their Facebook Fan Page that will display a constantly updated stream of the Twitter users of their choice.'

In addition, blog tracking firm Technorati has launched Twittorati.com, which allows users to filter tweets by topic, see 'most-tweeted' blog posts and compare blogosphere and Twitter trends.

Other features include a trending topics section, the top sites bloggers are linking to and the most talked about photos. A list of featured bloggers is also available, updated daily, with links to additional information about them.
