Education Analysts Merge

In the US, higher education marketing specialist EducationDynamics has announced a merger with NYC-based Aslanian Group, which focuses on adult student market analysis.

The resulting MR and Analysis Division will focus EducationDynamics' efforts to use market analysis to helps institutions find, enroll and retain students. Among the benefits, it says clients will enjoy a broader and deeper range of market analysis; an extensive compilation of proprietary data regarding specific markets and student categories; and expanded custom market research resources. The enlarged firm will also maintain and expand Aslanian's professional conferences and events, including its successful professional development seminars.

Steve Isaac, CEO of EducationDynamics, comments: 'This merger is a logical step that creates substantial value for client partners and stakeholders of both EducationDynamics and Aslanian Group.'

Aslanian founder Carol Aslanian has nearly 30 years of experience in the field and has helped more than 300 colleges and universities with their enrolment strategy. For more than 20 years she was Director of the Office of Adult Learning Services at the College Board in New York.

She comments: 'While historically Aslanian Group has focused on assisting higher education institutions analyze regional supply and demand among adult learners, joining forces with EducationDynamics will strengthen our ability to address the ever-expanding online learning market, as well as traditional-aged markets that increasingly seek the efficiencies and convenience of instructional settings adults have always sought.'
