Canwest Info Firm Adds Radio Monitoring
Canadian news and business information resource FPinfomart.ca - a division of media company Canwest Publishing - has added radio monitoring to its portfolio of sources for tracking corporate and competitive intelligence.
The new service will complement the firm's existing portfolio of 77 Canadian TV stations, with access to unlimited summary notes from 30 of Canada's largest radio stations, plus an additional 100 radio stations available for monitoring on an ad hoc basis. Clients will also be able to order full transcripts or audio files from their radio summary notes.
They can also use the service to keep up-to-date on the most relevant content by visiting the site throughout the day, subscribing to the alert service, or by using RSS feeds of custom searches.

The firm also offers a suite of media tools to analyze the tone of articles written on a particular topic, assess the size of the audience reading about that topic, and quantify the impact of the media coverage.
