infoGroup Appoints New Board Chairman

ORC parent and database giant infoGroup has named Roger Siboni as its new Chairman of the Board, replacing Bernard Reznicek who took up the position last year.

Siboni, who has been an independent Board member since January, commenced his chairmanship duties during the Board of Directors meeting which took place last Friday.

During his career, he has served as Chairman of the Board of CRM software firm Epiphany, and spent more than 20 years at KPMG, most recently as its Deputy Chairman and COO.

He currently serves as a Director for electronic design automation firm Cadence Design Systems; for security management solutions provider ArcSight; and for sound processing specialist Dolby Laboratories. He previously served as Chair of the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.

Over the past year, the Board has been led by Reznicek, who took up the post following the sacking of founder and former CEO and Chairman Vin Gupta, following an investigation which found he had misspent millions of company dollars.

Since his appointment, Reznicek has helped guide new governance policies and a new leadership structure. He joined the Board in 2006, and has agreed to remain on the Board and serve as an independent director.
