Draftfcb Shuts MR Group
Ad agency Draftfcb has shuttered its Worldwide Marketing Research Services group, handing its work to the Center for Marketing Intelligence at its parent Interpublic Group.
The discontinued group's leader Sid Liebenson, EVP and Director of Marketing at Draftfcb, will leave the agency at the end of the year.
A spokesperson for the group told www.dmnews.com : 'We thank Sid for his many contributions to the agency and wish him continued success' but would not comment on the implications for others working in the unit, which has locations in Chicago and New York.
In April, Draftfcb promoted its Chief Customer Intelligence Officer, Michael Fassnacht, to the newly created role of Worldwide Chief Strategy Officer.
