Innerscope Hires Arbitron Veteran

In the US, biometric and neuroscience agency Innerscope Research has appointed former Arbitron senior exec Linda Dupree as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Linda DupreeBoston, MA-headquartered Innerscope, which was founded in January 2006, by Dr Carl Marci and Brian Levine, combines neuroscience and biometrics with its own proprietary software, to measure and analyze audience engagement with any media stimulus.

Earlier in the year, the firm used biometric measurement to track the physical responses of people watching ads during the February Super Bowl game.

Dupree joins the agency with more than two decades of industry experience, of which 19 years were gained at Arbitron where she latterly worked as EVP, New Product Development, Portable People Meter.

While working at the ratings giant, Dupree was also co-General Manager for Project Apollo; the now-discontinued joint venture with Nielsen which aimed to probe the link between consumer exposure to advertising through multiple media and shopping / purchasing behaviour.

Prior to joining Arbitron in 1990, Dupree was Assistant Group Head at Grey Advertising in New York, and held field marketing management posts with Stroh Brewery Company.

'Linda's deep insight and understanding of the revolutionary technologies that are advancing media research, as well as her experience with those companies that comprise our core business, will continue to drive Innerscope's growth,' said co-founder and CEO Dr Carl Marci. 'We're thrilled to add someone with such broad and deep expertise.'
