European Firms Launch Research Network

Newly founded LeGo Research, which specialises in customer management, brand and communications, and price and product projects, has partnered with Danish firm MyResearch and Norwegian agency Perceptor to offer clients a broader portfolio and deliver deeper insights.

LeGo was launched last month by former Synovate Director Lenard Goedeke. He will link with MyResearch and Perceptor to form a 'knowledge network' through which the three firms will exchange ideas and provide practical solutions for their clients.

'Cross-border knowledge will benefit all our clients and prospects', explained Goedeke. 'Our focus will be on the research and consulting aspects of idea generation and innovation, and the development of corresponding tools and solutions.'

One of the first joint efforts will be to bring MyResearch's MyDigitalConsumerStudy approach to the German and Norwegian market; and later the firm's MyImage survey will be rolled out to provide marketers with a view on ad, media and web agencies.

Explains MyResearch MD Mogens Østergaard: 'We are glad to have met partners who have the same understanding of quality and insights. Our research activities in Germany and Norway will benefit from this.'

The three companies see this partnership as a starting point for an international consultancy-based research network to provide multi-country research.

'We will not build separate data-collection capability, but buy high-end field and tab services from the best local resources,' said Perceptor founder Leif Henrik Husom. 'This will allow us to focus our efforts on providing real value to our local and cross-border clients.'

The partners expect further research agencies and consultancies to join the alliance soon.
