BPO Firms Merge

BPO (business processing outsourcing) firm American Pacesetters has acquired Indian BPO company IQ Resource (IQR), which supports customers in the US and UK. The combined firms will now be known as iPacesetters and be headquartered in Mesa, Arizona.

Frank RoyalBoth firms focus on clients in the trade publishing industry. IQR provides market research and telesales to a variety of customers, and also offers telemarketing, e-mail services, online forms and web sites, and other outsourced audience development activities.

American Pacesetters, in business for 27 years, says the acquisition will continue its expansion strategy by enabling it to offer a combination of BPO services on a global basis.

'This strategic move will satisfy our clients' requirements to continue to reduce cost in a tight economic environment,' stated American Pacesetters President Frank Royal. 'The current economy is driving clients to be more cost effective by utilizing a combination of on and off-shore outsourced operations.'

Manshu Singh, CEO of IQR added that joining forces with American Pacesetters will offer a more comprehensive solution to clients and realize the full potential of his firm's service offerings.

Singh will continue managing the Indian operations, reporting to Royal who was until recently the SVP of ICT Group global outsourcing based in Asia.
