[x+1] Strengthens Digital Platform
Online targeting firm [x+1] has hired Mike Dillon, former Vice President of Brand Activation Marketing at Pepsi Cola North America, as VP of Sales for its digital optimization platform CPG Connect. The company has also promoted Dave Pollet to VP of Sales and announced other senior appointments.
Pollet, until now [x+1]'s National Sales Director, was VP of Online Marketing for Bank of America from 2001 to 2005, and also worked as Senior Director of Sales at Bankrate.com.
Dillon spent seventeen years at Pepsi, managing a $65m budget and overseeing development of national promotions, including Super Bowl initiatives and film and games tie-ins; he also managed shopper marketing across 22 strategic customer accounts.
Both VPs will report to Chief Revenue Officer Jason Shulman, who comments: 'Demand for CPG Connect has been so strong since its December launch that we needed a dedicated owner of the outreach to clients and prospects. Getting someone of Mike's caliber is a testament to the leading role CPG Connect is taking in helping marketers drive brick-and-mortar sales through the online channel as never before.'
CPG Connect combines consumer and shopper purchase data and insight from IRI's Consumer Network with [x+1]'s online ad targeting capabilities.
The company also hired Kevin Keller, formerly President of Internet marketing firm K Square Interactive, as Director of Eastern Sales and Client Director, reporting to Pollet; former Razorfish Account Director Ted Kim as Director, Client Solutions; and Eric Holt, previously an Account Manager at Advertising.com, as Director, Client Solutions. Anna Howell, who joined the company in January 2009 from mobile content provider Thumbplay, has been promoted to Director of Media Operations, from Manager, Media Operations.
