DeviceAnywhere to Share Developer Data

US mobile application testing firm DeviceAnywhere is to offer a window on trends in development activity. A monthly report, 'DeviceAnywhere Metrics', will detail the mobile operating systems and handsets on which clients are focusing their testing efforts.

The report will draw on empirical data derived from application testing - including enterprise applications - on the firm's system. This includes handset testing data from the 'DeviceAnywhere Test Center', a service which provides access to more than 2,000 handsets - including smartphones and feature phones - deployed across seven countries and over two dozen carrier networks.

'Because we work directly with over 10,000 application developers from every segment of the mobile ecosystem, we have privileged data on the broader trends in mobile application testing,' stated CEO Faraz Syed.
