Truth Opens in New York

UK-based insight consultancy Truth has opened its first overseas office, in New York, and appointed brand strategy expert Gayle Moberg to head the operation.

Gayle MobergLaunched in March 2007, Truth focuses on strategic insight consultancy to solve business problems, and offers analysis of client data, qual and quant market research, semiotics and cultural analysis.

The firm recently reported growth of 31% for the year ending March 2010, with turnover up to just over £5m.

Moberg joins with more than 23 years' market research experience. During her career, she worked ad agency side, before setting up and running the Fifteen20 innovation practice within TNS/Research International in London and New York, and building it to a global practice active in 25 markets.

Additionally, she led business development at Clear Ideas' US office, prior to setting up her own consumer insights agency GDM Market Solutions.

'We are delighted to have a director of Gayle's experience and calibre on board,' said Head of Truth, Andy Dexter. 'Gayle's own business connections and track record speak for themselves, and represent a great platform for growth. Most importantly, her outlook and way of working is completely in tune with the Truth philosophy.'

The US division has already won projects from several US and European organisations, and Dexter says the firm is currently hiring for the New York team's full launch in the next three months.
